“My market can’t afford high-ticket.” I hear this every week. And every time, I can show you someone in that exact market charging $5,000–$10,000 and crushing it.
The Real Problem
Your market isn’t broke. Your offer isn’t compelling enough. There’s a massive difference between “I teach yoga” and “I help yoga instructors build $30K/month businesses in 90 days.”
People don’t pay for information. They pay for transformation. And they’ll pay a premium for a clearly articulated outcome that solves a real problem.
How to Charge More
Increase the specificity. “Business coaching” is worth $500. “Helping SaaS founders reduce churn by 40% in 60 days” is worth $10,000. The more specific the outcome, the higher the price.
Add proximity. Group programmes are worth more than courses. 1-on-1 is worth more than group. Mastermind retreats are worth more than 1-on-1. People pay for access.
Show proof. Case studies, testimonials, before-and-after results. Proof eliminates risk in the buyer’s mind, which eliminates price objections.
The Price Objection Reframe
When someone says “I can’t afford it,” what they’re really saying is “I don’t see enough value yet.” That’s a sales problem, not a market problem.
If your offer delivers $50K in results and you charge $5K, it’s a no-brainer. Make the ROI obvious and the objections disappear.
